Why Free is not a crippled demo
The Free plan is built around Bureaucramancer's structural Recovery Inbox, change history, inspection and selective restore. When one channel, role or permission layout breaks, an administrator can inspect the preserved state and restore the affected structure instead of treating a whole-server rollback as the first option. Mandatory destructive-action safeguards remain available on every plan.
Why Standard feels different
Standard adds the information layer: retained messages, Tupper-aware identity linking, edits/deletions, attachment protection, backfill, search and evidence exports. The result is not just a backup — it is a searchable record that can help moderation, RP administration and recovery before replaying retained content into a recreated channel.
Why Pro is more than bigger limits
Pro adds the moderation Case layer: staff deliberately select evidence into Cases, keep that evidence separate from the ordinary 30-day archive, and gain substantially longer structural continuity and larger protected-file capacity. Ordinary Discord message archiving remains capped at 30 days across the paid plans.
Paid access
Bureaucramancer's website uses Stripe Managed Payments for both monthly and yearly subscriptions. Discord Premium App subscriptions remain available as a native monthly alternative. Both providers map into the same server-level Standard and Pro entitlement system. Bureaucramancer also supports explicitly audited complimentary service grants for testing, promotions, friends or service remediation; a complimentary grant is never represented as a paid subscription.

Website pricing is £4.99/month or £49.99/year for Standard and £8.99/month or £89.99/year for Pro. Stripe provides the hosted website checkout for both billing intervals. Discord Store checkout remains a native monthly alternative and displays the buyer's supported local price.
